Little Strawberry Pattern

There is something about strawberries that always make me happy. So when I had a few minutes of boredom and a lot of left over red and green yarn, I decided why not make some crochet strawberries? They are so easy to make and only take about five minutes.

This pattern is for personal use only. So please do not sell, redistribute, or copy this pattern or any plushies made from this pattern.

Finished Size
This pattern will make one strawberry that is 2'' long and 1.5'' wide.

Gauge
The size of your stitches does not matter just as long as they are tight enough to hold the stuffing.

Materials
- acrylic yarn in red and green
- crochet hook
- yarn needle
- polyester stuffing
- scissors

Notes
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
dec - decrease (skip the sc)
sts - stitches

Pattern
----- Strawberry ------
Use Red Yarn
ROW 1: Ch 2, 5 sc [magic ring] (5 sts)
ROW 2: 2 sc in each around (10 sts)
ROW 3: 10 sc (10 sts)
ROW 4: 4 sc, 2 sc in one [repeat 2x] (12 sts)

Stuff and bind the top of the strawberry.

ROW 2: sc, 4 sc in one [repeat 3x] (15 sts)
ROW 3: 4 sc, 3 sc in one [repeat 3x] (21 sts)

Tie off and use the long tail for attaching the leaf to the top of the strawberry.

I hope you enjoy this pattern! These strawberries can be used as decoration, little gifts, etc. I plan to make mine into key chains.
